Ian’s journey in VAT began with supporting NHS Boards and Trusts. Over time, he honed his skills, becoming a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser. His focus on the public, third sector, and housing led him to assume a prominent role in a mid-tier firm, where he spearheaded the not-for-profit VAT offering for The North, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
His expertise has earned him the opportunity to present at prestigious events and conferences hosted by the Scottish Government and the National Housing Federation, showcasing his deep understanding of VAT complexities within the housing, third, and public sectors.
